Wetsuit hanger tips may initially sound like an odd title for a blog post but bear with us. There are lots of riders who don’t use a wetsuit hanger, let alone know how to use the XRail. Which we get as its innovative design doesn’t look like anything else on the market. However, here are 6 ways of how to use the XRail.

Wetsuit hanger sustainability.
Before we get onto the ‘meat and potatoes’ of this article we just wanted to talk a little about the design behind the XRail. Nothing done at Exit is carried out lightly. Everything has a thought process with (as much as possible) as the bases covered.
One such point is sustainability. When the Exit XRail was conceived it was done so with being kinder to the environment. As such, the XRail is manufactured from recycled plastic. And all of Exit’s packaging is plastic-free. The concept of the XRail is also eco-friendly as it’s been created to keep your wetsuit intact for longer and out of landfill. Which also happens to make it a wallet-friendly option too!
Hang your Exit Xrail wetsuit hanger from a shower pole.
When the Exit Xrail wetsuit hanger was born it was done with hanging your wetsuits from a shower pole. The clever cantilevered design is a hardware-less ‘arm’ that swings outwards from the pole or upright it hangs from.
Wanting to take this further and give more wetsuit drying options Exit then launched the SUX suction upright for the XRail. The SUX suction cup attaches to any flat and smooth surface. Attaching your XRail in the same way you would to a shower pole the XRail can then be hung in many more places. But it doesn’t stop there.
Outdoor wetsuit drying made easy.
With an Exit XRail wetsuit hanger and SUX suction up pole add-on, riders are able to dry their wetsuits whilst out and about. Without the need for heading back to base to rid your rubber of moisture, there’s more opportunity to ‘get out and live’.

Here at Exit, we’re all about maximising your watersports sessions. Whether it be kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing, paddle boarding, foiling or other clocking in some decent hours is always the order of the day. Being able to dry your wetsuit fast and efficiently, whilst ‘on the ground’ as it were, ensures more fun and fulfilment.
The XRail screw hang option.
The Exit XRail wetsuit hanger is nothing if not versatile. Head honcho Kieran certainly designed it this way. To have as many options as possible gives always limitless drying options. Whether out and about or back at base.
This is why the rear of the XRail has a purposely integrated notch that’s there for a specific reason. If you have a screw or protrusion from a solid upright surface you can slot the notch over the top and hang the XRail in this way. Yet another way to dry your wetsuit and get it ready for that next session pronto.
Hang it high with a HUX.
Conventional wetsuit hangers generally hang from a fixed point above and swing freely in a downwards fashion. The Xrail was created to hang outwards and away from objects thereby giving your wetsuit even more room to breathe and aerate.

However, this all said here at Exit we appreciate there may sometimes be a requirement where the XRail is hung from above. In which case you can do so with the nifty HUX. Made from recycled fishing nets it’s a simple task to attach the HUX and then utilise the free swinging nature of it once attached to the XRail. Another example of sustainability, eco-friendliness and practical functionality.
Don’t forget your booties, gloves and hood!
Exit’s Xrail wetsuit hanger isn’t just for wetsuits. While its efficient design won’t crease or damage your wetsuit, and get it dry in a short amount of time, it’s all able to take your wetsuit accessories.
Using bungee clips on the XRail’s underside you can attach and dry your wetsuit boots, gloves and hood all at the same time as your wetsuit. Which is great news if you’re riding in colder weather and needing more gear to stay comfortably protected while on the water.
Summing up.
As we said at the start the versatility of the XRail is purposeful. We want every rider to enjoy their sessions as much as possible. This means having dry wetsuit gear. The XRail will massively help with this. As well as being kinder to the environment.
